She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Francisco and Margarita Muniz Hernandez; and her sisters, Delia Garza and Maricela Torres (Juan Francisco Hernandez Jr.). She is survived by: her children, Amanda Hernandez, Adan Longoria and Javier Hernandez; and her sisters, Graciela Hernandez, Alma Gloria Villegas, Alma Gonzalez and Francisca Gutierrez. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rudy Garza Funeral Home - Mercedes (236 S Ohio Ave, Mercedes, TX 78570). A rosary was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (920 Anaquitas St, Mercedes, TX 78570).
