He is survived by: his wife Elsa Edith Lopez; his children, Antonio Tijerina (Selena) and Isabel Tijerina (Eric); his grandchildren, Jessica Hope Tijerina, Jesus Leyva Tijerina and Hennessy Coronado; his mother Ramona Tijerina; and his siblings, Gabriel Tijerina (Maria) and Marilu Ramirez (Gabriel). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
