It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alrene Pearl Schmitt of Mercedes, Texas, who passed away on October 7, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Art Wilder and Pearl Wilder; her former husband Marshall; her sisters, Joan and Jane; and her stepson Mike.
She is survived by: her sons, Roy (Gwen), Rod (Audrey) and Randy (Stephanie); her husband Bob Schmitt; and her stepsons, Terry (Tina), Bobby (Karen) and Brian (Kris). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and their spouses, and 20 great-grandchildren.
