He was predeceased by: his parents, Amelia Garza and Victor Garza; and his sister Eva Garza. He is survived by: his daughters, Amelia Reyna (Richard), Irma Garza (Leo Guzman), Eva Rodriguez (Orlando) and Elizabeth Maldonado (Jose Angel "Lefty"); and his siblings, Enedelia Gonzales and Daniel Cantu (Eva). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren, and nieces/nephews.
