It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve Jerome Zaro (Menard, Texas), born in Galveston, Texas, who passed away on May 12, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Zaro and Juanita LaFrance Zaro (Coffield); his wife Nancy Zaro; his son Randy Smith; his siblings, Jesse Ray Zaro, Norman Zaro, James Zaro, Joe Zaro and Edith Elliott; his niece Nicole Zaro; and his nephew Jay Zaro.
He is survived by: his sons, Raymond Smith (Claudine) of Oakley and Ricky Smith of Shandon, California; his siblings, Darrell Zaro (Sheila) of Santa Fe, Jake Zaro of Cleveland, Danny Zaro (Terry) of Queen City, Jack Zaro (Bobbie) of Santa Fe, Barbara "Beanie" Miller of Santa Fe and Lenora "Lee" Dickerson (J. C.) of Santa Fe; and his grandchildren, Rachael, Michael, Allen and Stephanie Smith.
