Richard Allen Cordes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Allen Cordes (Menard, Texas), who passed away on February 15, 2020 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oney Cordes and Verna Cordes; his brother John Cordes; and his parents-in-law, Fred and Juanita Igo.
He is survived by: his wife Janis; his children, Megan Cordes, Brittany, Cai Laird, Blane Cordes, Ashlea, Avery, Weston, Aubrey, Logan Cordes, Anna, Cam, Allie and Kason; and his siblings, Greg Cordes, Laurie Curtis, Oney Cordes, Wanda Baldwin and Donna Shodrock.
The family asked that in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Menard County 4-H, Menard County Library, Menard County Fire Department, Menard County Historical Society or Texas Fine wool lamb association.
