He was predeceased by: his parents, Castulo Gutierrez and Soledad Gutierrez; and his nephew Ricky Gutierrez. He is survived by: his wife Ethel; his children, Anna, Alice, Avilda, James, Paul and Leon; and his siblings, Lydia, Virginia, Reynoldo and Roger. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
