He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Bray and Lily Mae Bray (Joan "Jodie" Bray). He is survived by: his spouse Jodie; his children, Jimmie Bray II of Brady, Jeffrey Bray (Kerry) of Flower Mound and Jonea Bray Henslee (Ricky) of Gainesville; and his grandchildren, Joal Garner, Jarrid Garner and Josh Garner. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

He had Alzheimer's for over 10 years.
