With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Guadalupe Rebecca Gonzales of Menard, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Guadalupe Rebecca left this world on February 15, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Gonzales and Carolina Gonzales (Rodriguez); her children, Elida DeAnda and Paul DeAnda; and her great grandchild Lupe DeAnda III.
She is survived by: her children, Lupe DeAnda (Esther) of Albuquerque, Charles DeAnda (Bertha) of Menard, Oscar DeAnda of Coppell, Texas and Yolanda Salazar of San Angelo, Texas; her sister Modesta Castillo of San Angelo, Texas; her grandchildren, Lupe DeAnda II, Lindsey Marie Hernandez, Brian Paul Salazar, Gary DeAnda, Charlie DeAnda and Kevin DeAnda; and her great grandchildren, Fabian Pablo DeAnda, Aiden Hernandez, Keziah Nicole Salazar, Kohen Paul Salazar, Case DeAnda, Claire DeAnda and Aubrey DeAnda. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (609 Ellis St, Menard, TX 76859). A rosary was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
