He was predeceased by: his grandson Jason Holden; and his son-in-law Peter Cheaney (Dorothy). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Smith; his children, Jacqueline Cheaney, Gary Holden (Cherie) and Jenny Strackbein (Roger); and his grandchildren, Marcy Boatman (Randy), Martin Cheaney (Jan), Steven Holden (Susan), Wesley Strackbein (Micah), Sherena Schloneger (Josh), Melody Bannister, Jenna Strackbein, Shanna Sample (Matthew), Emily Springer (Daniel) and Elisabeth Strackbein. He is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
