She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Burnett, Sr. and Teal Estell Burnett; and her husband Melvin "Son" Hildreth. She is survived by: her daughters, Melva Hildreth Flowers, Ruby Hildreth of Texarkana, Texas and Kathryn Montgomery (Derrick) of Charlotte, NC; her granddaughters, Stephanie Taylor (Robert Earl Singleton), Sonia Gailes Victoria Montgomery (Keith), Alexandria Montgomery and Alivia Montgomery; and her siblings, Mattie Bobo (Jeff), Shirley Carson, Homer Burnett (Norma) of Arcadia, California, Billy Burnett (Shirley) of Moorpark and Mattie Traylor of Texarkana. She is also survived by five great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
