It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Engler of Melvin, Texas, who passed away on February 17, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles R. Fischer and Louise Fischer (Schaper); her siblings, Robert Fischer, Adelyn Naumann (Engler) and Juanita Dreibrodt (Engler); and also, Sophie Fischer (Berger), Oscar and Ella Engler (Dietert).
She is survived by: her children, Dwayne Engler (Brenda), Cheryl Herrmann (Larry) and Craig Engler (Tracy); her grandchildren, Travis Engler (Gina), Emily Engler-Petrisky (Patrick), Rene Herrmann (Samantha), Jessica Herrmann-Lockhart (Chad), Charles Herrmann (Ana), Douglas Engler, Cordy Engler, Nicole Engler, Colton Engler and Clayton Engler; her great grandchildren, Grant, Heath, Brice, Ella, Claire, Camden, Kaylee, Luciano, Brooklyn, Olivia, Bowen (Otto), Charles Jr., Alyssa, Damian, Julian, Mia and Zayne; and her sisters, Dorothy Ann Middendorf (Fischer) and Joyce Dreibrodt (Engler). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and many friends.
All CDC protocols must be followed including social distancing, limited seating and face coverings worn at all locations. Due to COVID restrictions, there will be no reception after the services.
