It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irma Jean Fairman Parker of Melissa, Texas, who passed away on April 19, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. W. Fairman and Luberta Fairman (Holmes); and her siblings, Andrew Fairman, Patricia Baxter, Rachel Adams, Aretha McGhee, Cleo Houz and Dorothy Mae Bullocks.
She is survived by: her children, Nasca Gray of Atlanta, Georgia, Starr Magee (Corky, Sr.) of Melissa, Texas and Ray Parker, Jr. of McKinney, Texas; her stepdaughter Trina Parker of Houston, Texas; her grandchildren, Jaziya McCreary, Corky Magee, Jr., Caleb Magee and Christian Magee; her siblings, J. W. Fairman, II (Pamela) of Chicago, John Fairman (Vicki) of Germantown, Jerenza Fairman of Cleveland, Walter Lee Fairman of Chicago, Illinois and Dr. Alice Daniels; and her goddaughter Delores Johnson.
