With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elvis Davis of Megargel, Texas, born in Spiro, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 23, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Davis and Sadie Davis (Hudson); his former wife Rita Kellar; his children, Carl Davis and Celia Davis; his siblings, Richard Davis and Mattie Ludwig; and his great grandchild Bentley Clayton.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Davis (Shimp) of Megargel; his children, Clifford Davis of Megargel, Craig Davis (Tammy) of Olney, Shelia McDonald of Megargel and Sheree Owens of Olney; and his sister Bertha Cooksey of Coos Bay, Oregon. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
