He was predeceased by: his parents, George P. Derry, Sr. and Nellie; his stepmother Blanche; and his siblings, Nellie Jones (Kenneth) and George Derry, Jr. (Bobbie).
He is survived by: his siblings, John Derry (Lois) of Medina, TX and Jeannine Clark (Jim); his nieces and nephews, Janice Dodson (Jim) of Stockton, CA, Jenith Hall (Scott) of Ashland, OR, Karen Henny (David) of Portland, TX, Kenneth Jones, Jr. (Devorah) of Stockton, CA, Craig Jones of Gilbert, AZ, Michael Derry (Kerri) of Medina, TX and David Derry (Megan) of Medina, TX; and his close friend Pamela Allen of Corpus Christi, TX.. He is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews.
