With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Alfred Gibson (Meadow, Texas), born in Ropesville, Texas, who passed away on April 4, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Gibson and Ava Gibson; his daughter Ruth Gibson Drake; and his siblings, Billy Gibson, Tom Gibson, Dean Gibson, Juanita Lewis and Marilyn Thomas.

He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Ann Wartes; his daughter Rebecca Gibson Hatch (John) of Buda, TX.; his grandchildren, Phillip Drake (Stephanie) of Ropesville, Stephanie Fleming (Chase) of Meadow, John Robert Hatch of Houston, Gibson Hatch and Hannah Hatch of Buda; and his great grandchildren, Ainsley, Ellie and Brayden. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
