He was predeceased by: his parent Ruth Lovette; and his siblings, Fred Lovette, Rex Lovette, Gene Allen Lovette and Bonnie L. Rhodes.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Bumgarner Lovette; his son Bill Lovette Jr (Carolyn Jones Lovette); his grandchildren, Jennifer Lovette of Charlotte and Don Lovette (Keitha) of Timnath, CO; his great grandchildren, Madison Lovette, Jackson Lovette and Hudson Lovette; his brothers, Pete Lovette of North Wilkesboro, NC and Blake Lovette of North Wilkesboro, NC; his siblings-in-law, Claudine Lovette, Frank Rhodes of North Wilkesboro, NC and Betsy Lovette of Cary, NC; and his niece Camille Lovette Eller (Robert Eller).
