It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaNell Koepsel Meckel of McQueeney, Texas, who passed away on October 26, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hulda Koepsel, (Koehler) and George Dewey Koepsel, Sr.; her husband Roger Lee Meckel of McQueeney; her son Roger Scott Meckel; her siblings, George Koepsel, Jr. and Beverly Caron; and her nephew Rudy Caron.
She is survived by: her daughter Rita Zwicke (Doug); her daughter-in-law Becky Meckel; her grandson Craig Zwicke (family: Wyatt Meckel); and her great grandchildren, Kirsten and Kennedy Meckel. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; other loving family and friends.
