He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Durwood and Janet Leah Teal (Wasson); his wife Vickie Teal; and his siblings, Barry Teal and Jo Currie.
He is survived by: his daughter Windy Miles; his grandson Ryley Miles; his niece Janet Pontremoli (Brandon); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Leah Coleman (Tristan), Alexandera (Ricky), Daniel Kendrick and Dallas Pontremoli; his nephew Daniel Currie (Tiffany); his great-nieces, Audrey Currie and Zoey Currie; his great-nephew Landon Orsak; his siblings-in-law, Steve Currie and Ricki Teal; his friend Paula Smith; and his pet Lucy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either The Tomb of The Unknown Soldier, 1 Wilson Ave, Fort Myer, VA 22211, or Shriners Hospital, 901 N Loop 1604 W, San Antonio, TX 78232.
