We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2020, at the age of 78, John Clark Childress of McLeod, Texas, born in Atlanta, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Childress and Opal Childress; his son Jon Gregory Childress; his grandson Jake Smith; and his brothers, Gaylon and Sander Childress.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Childress of McLeod, TX; his children, Kyle Childress (Becky) of Anderson, TX, Kyla Smith (Jack) of McLeod, TX and Kelli Petty (Mike) of McLeod, TX; his grandchildren, Hunter Smith (Tiffany), K'lynn Childress, Ryan Childress (Courtney), Hannah Childress, Cydni Johnson (Michael) and Blade Petty; and his great grandchildren, Kam, Kase Johnson, Haddie, John and George Childress (Ronny Mullens).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Good Exchange Cemetery Fund.
