He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Luther Fred Bailey and Francis Louise Jones; his wife Cathy Bailey of McKinney; his sons, Shawn Bailey (Jennifer) of Blue Ridge and John Luther Bailey (Michele) of San Antonio; his grandchildren, Emily Parman (Aaron) of Anna, Noah Bailey (Leah) of Josephine, Jordan Bailey (Hannah) of Princeton, Kolby Bailey of Blue Ridge, Emma Bailey of San Antonio and Peyton Holtz (Alex) of Tampa, Florida.; his great grandchildren, Ivy Parman, Lily Parman, Ross Bailey and Reid Bailey; and his siblings, Freddy Bailey (Dianna) and Kay Jemison (Bob). He was also cherished by cousins, neices and nephews.
