She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Hudson and Stella Deloris Hudson (McAnally); her husband Bobby Burnside; and her siblings, Darryl, Gerald, Bud, Mark, Johnny, Irene Pegram, Doris Garcia, Betty Burnside and Margaret Hancock.

She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Burnside of Carrollton, Texas, Kim Burnside of Hillsboro and Kristi Prescott of McKinney, Texas; and her grandchildren, Dion, Julie, David, Samantha, Remington, Quinton, Tristen, Keely and Noah. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
