Sarah Ruth Hastings Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2024, at the age of 100, Sarah Ruth Hastings of McKinney, Texas, born in Huntsville, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Stogner and Mary Ruth Stogner (Hill); and her husband Barney W. Hastings. She is survived by: her children, Mike Hastings (Wanda) of Sherman and Carol Stebbins (Dan Lunenburg) of McKinney; her grandchildren, Angela Copeland of McKinney, Tammy Taylor, Tracy Taylor of Sherman and Laurie; and her brothers, Wilson and Russell Stogner. She is also survived by three great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

Memorials can be made in Sarah's name to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or WSBC Building Fund.
