She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Richard Cheney and Edna Emily Littlejohn Cheney; her daughter Kathryn Elizabeth Arnold; and her brother Donald Richard Cheney, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Bassel (Dabney) of Fort Worth, Jeannie Barrett (Brian) of College Station and Liles Arnold (Susan) of McKinney; her grandchildren, Ashley Ming (Tim), Jesse Arnold (Christina), Joel Arnold, Christopher Arnold, Dallas Varner (Trey), Allison Wilson (Matthew), Kyle Barrett (Irene), Lindsey Mudge (Chris) and Katherine Bassel (Tim Cernak); and her brother Wallace Hood Cheney (Gloria) of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.. She is also survived by twenty-six great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Memorial Park. A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
