He is survived by: his wife Raquel Ornelas; his children, Melchor Manuel Ornelas (Latoya), Raquel Cortez (Javier) and Nancy Lopez (Emanuel); his grandchildren, Raquel Cortez Jr., Oscar-Melchor Lopez, Javier Cortez Jr., Manuel Ornelas, Natalia Lopez, Raquel Ester Lopez and Samuel Ornelas; his mother-in-law Delia Artidiello; and his siblings, Marcos Ornelas, Alejandro Ornelas, Cruz Ornelas and Guadalupe Ornelas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
