She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Harold and Fern Timian (Thornton); her husband Rev. Mel Herring; and her sister Janice Stohlman. She is survived by: her children, Leigh Carreon (Carlo) of The Woodlands, Mark Herring (Jacquelene) of Ceres, Sarah Claburn (Mark) of Mansfield and Rachel Brownlee (John) of Lucas, Texas; and her grandchildren, Megan, Emily, Elizabeth, Christian, Andrew, Alishia, Jacob, Kathleen, Alexandra, Allison and Anna.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Linda's honor to: Messiah Lutheran Church 1801 W. Plano Pkwy.
