He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Johnston and Rozena Jean Johnston; and his grandparents, Wilford Thomas Hand, Ethel Virginia Chatham, William Floyd Johnston and Florence Ruby Rogers.
He is survived by: his sons, David Johnston (Lee Anne) of McKinney, Texas and Daniel Johnston (Richelle) of Rosemount, Minn.; his grandson Logan; and his siblings, Richard Johnston of Houston, Texas, Donna Blair of Harker Heights and Susan Wood of League City, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
