He is survived by: his wife Shirlayne Bergstedt (Sherie) of McKinney; his children, Theresa Drulard (Rick) of Bend, Oregon, Laura Holmes (Bryan) of Washington, Illinois, Mark Bergstedt (Heather) of Heath, Texas, Steve Bergstedt of Forney, Texas and Tim Bergstedt (Heidi) of Waterford; his stepsons, Jeffery Messer (Amy), Jonathan Messer (Pedro) and Ben Messer; his grandchildren, Matthew (Ruth Ann), Chris, Andrew, Lily, Claire, Jackson (Grace), McCallister, Jameson, Isaiah, Brooke, Natalie, Ashley, Sean, Ethan, Austin, Ezekiel, Bruce and Desiree; his brothers, Merrill (Connie), Charlie and Richard (Montie); his sister-in-law Beverly; his cousin Kathy Luzar; and his brother-in-law David. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces.
