He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lewis Marvin Dempsey and Shirley Bell Minor; his parents, Joe Eatherly and Helen Dempsey Eatherly of Georgia; and his half-brothers, Frank Harold Steele, Jr. and Lewis Marvin Steele.
He is survived by: his father-in-law Joe Lloyd Eatherly; his wife Dana Lane Eatherly of McKinney, Texas; his children, Brian Eatherly (Lynn Hatley), Steve Eatherly (Hoi) of San Diego, California, Eric Eatherly of Alcova, Wyoming and Natalie Flemens of Falls Church, Virginia; his niece Laura Steele of Gold Hill, Oregon; his friends, Wayne, Debbie Wilson of McKinney, Texas, David, Caro Medeghini of Gardnerville, Nevada and Paula Ashley of Murphy, Texas.; and also, Lewis Marvin Dempsey, Shirley Bell Minor, Tim, Tammie White of Saltillo, Texas, Lana McEnturff of Como, Texas, Debra Pfister of Sulphur Springs, Texas and Jim White of Sulphur Springs, Texas. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
