He is survived by: his children, James Michael Gatlin (Ashley Gatlin) and Stephanie Scherer (Davis Scherer) of Farmersville, Texas.; and his grandchildren, Emily Gail Gatlin, Haley Ann Gatlin and Jacob Kimball Scherer.
