Lonnie Giles wrote a sympathy message

“Mr. Langford, Becky and Lisa, I am so sorry to hear of Brian's passing. Haven't heard from him in 25 years but he was a great friend in high school and many years following. We had some great times!. I remember when Brian, Scott Cannon and I were having Roman candle wars at the Langford house. (Yes, fireworks. We were young and stupid) We didn't realize that Mr. Langford had come home from work and one of us shot him in the chest with a Roman candle. I'm sure Mr. L remembers. RIP my friend.”
