She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron Lewis and Verna Opal Ling (Jarvis); her husband Carlos Demarest; and her son Jerry Dean Tometich. She is survived by: her former husband Edward James Tometich; her children, Jim Tometich (Bonnie) of Pekin, Roger Tometich (Karen) of McKinney, Joe Demarest (Janice) of Lakeland, Jeff Demarest of South Africa, Penney Braley (Al) of Milford and Jeanie Demlow of Grand Forks; and her siblings, Byron "Buddy" Ling (Gloria) of Lemmon and Bonnie Nimmo (Edward) of Concord. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren.
