It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Blackwell (McGregor, Texas), born in Octavia, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 4, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose Blackwell of Washington and Thelma Jewel Blackwell (Caldwell); his brother Audry Don Blackwell; his brother-in-law Ronald Gaydos; and his niece Ronetta Sue Gaydos.

He is survived by: his son Vance Wayne Blackwell (Terrie Lee) of Hamilton; his grandchildren, Sheldon Wayne Blackwell (Mandy Rene) of Hamilton and Trina Dell Hawkins (Shane Haralson) of Mount Calm, Texas; his great grandchildren, Garrison Wayne Blackwell, Hayden Lane Blackwell, Zane Hank Hawkins, Halle Marie Hawkins and Heidi Ann Hawkins; and his sister Inola Gaydos of Arlington, Texas..
