He was predeceased by: his former wife Carolyn; and his sister Lola Ann Sherrill. He is survived by: his spouses, Carolyn Hill of McGregor and Shirley Hamilton Pitts of McGregor; his children, Kathleen Pitts Land (Lyle) of Coppell, TX and John David Pitts (Denise) of Fairfax, VA; his grandchildren, Courtney Land Wright (Shane), Sydney Land, Hank Pitts, Clara Pitts, Lucy Pitts and Hollis Pitts; his brother Johnny Ray Pitts; and his son Davis Hamilton (Melissa) of Harker Heights, TX.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials be mailed to Cal Farley's, P.O. Box 1890, Amarillo, TX 79174.
