He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward and Mary Riley (Latham); and his brother Gene Riley. He is survived by: his wife Delores Riley of McGregor; his sisters, Shirley and Cathey; his daughters, Renee Riley of Waco and Christi Bryant of Hillsboro; his stepchildren, Diane Almendariz (Eddie), Crystal Valdez (Edward) and John Gonzales of McGregor; and his grandchildren, Preston, Lola, Leyla, Lily and Edward Jr..
