She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Guillermo Valdez and Aquilina Buenagua; her husband Walter Pierce; her daughter-in-law Marie Hart (Jim); her stepdaughter Debbie Pierce; and her siblings-in-law, Deena Bennett of Corsicana, Karen Spradley, Gerald (Eddie) of Lorena, Ray Pierce (Linda) of McGregor and James Pierce (Missy) of McGregor. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews and friends.
