She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Dean Hicks and Velma Mai Addison (Chadwick); her former husband Buster Ray Davis; her husband Lawrence Earl Abbott; her sons, Dennis Ray Davis and Gerald Abbott; her great grandchildren, Joshua Weaver and Luke Benson; her brother Charles Hicks Sr.; her nephew Charles Hicks Jr.; and her sister-in-law Glenda Hicks.
She is survived by: her siblings, Diane Pryjda (Bish) of Ohio, Polly Atchison Churchwell, Debbie Oberst and Gene Hicks (Mary) of Tennessee. She is also survived by her five children; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren.
