He was predeceased by: his parents, Hardy Owen and Marie Walker Owen; and his sisters, Joan, Nancy, Pat, Janice, Helen, Doris, Gladys and Marnell.
He is survived by: his significant other Diane Kay Schmidt; his sons, John (Karin) of Anchorage, Jason (Rebecca) of Soldotna and Nathan (Mindy) of Boyd; his grandchildren, Dove, Ashley, Jacob, Erica, Emily, Tovia, Thomas, Luke, Michael, Katherine, Monica and Nicholas; and his great grandchildren, Psalm Rose, Naomi Violet and Stella Snapdragon.
