He was predeceased by: his son Jeffrey Gammel. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his daughters, Samantha Ethridge (Kerry), Sarah Wheeler (William), Sandy Wachsmann (Mike Samford) and Dusty Wade (Tammy Harrison); his daughter-in-law Misty Gammel; his siblings, Gerald Gammel (Linda) and Martha Smith (Michael); his sister-in-law Diana Golden (Critt); his nieces and nephews, Taylor and Tyler; his grandchildren, Travis Wachsmann (Candace), Skyler Wachsmann, Reece Wade, Wesley Sawyer, Ally, Jackson and Avery Ethridge; his great grandchildren, Trent Wachsmann, Blair Wachsmann and Bella Wachsmann; his close friends, Ann Woodard, Gail Gillaspie, Lee Ann Karl and Chris Eubank; his mother-in-law Aline McDonald; and also, Lucy and Charlie.
