She was predeceased by: her former husband A. E. Drew; her granddaughter Sarah Hering; and her parents, Herbert Dan Hyles and Bertha Dee Teeters Hyles. She is survived by: her spouse E. Drew; her grandchildren, Zeb Hering (Jenny) of Waco, Drew McNeill of Austin, Jessica Simpson (Eric Johnson) of California, Ashlee Simpson Ross (Evan Ross) of California, Will Smith (Meredith) of Arizona and Callie Smith El-Halabi (Kahlil) of Woodway; and her great grandchildren, Kinleigh Hering, Bronx Wentz, Zeke Hering, Maxwell Johnson, Ace Johnson, Jagger Ross, Birdie Johnson, Ziggy Ross, Adam El-Halabi and Daniel El-Halabi.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (700 W 6th St, McGregor, TX 76657). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the McGregor Cemetery (514-592 E Windsor Rd, McGregor, TX 76657).
