He is survived by: his wife Sherry Bailey; his daughters, Donna Herring Burchfield and Mindy Ray; his stepchildren, Chymene McAdams, Johnny Whiteside, Jr. and Steve Whiteside; and his sisters, Phyllis Beene and Cindy Hastings (Greg). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
