It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Wayne Lawrence of McGregor, Texas, born in Waco, Texas, who passed away on September 26, 2020, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Wayne Preston Lawrence; and his brother Larry Wiedeman. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Jean Ballard (Griffin); his daughter Amy Morgan (Billy) of McGregor; his sisters, Dianne Hegar (David) of West, Mary Ann Oliverez (Frank) of McGregor, Sarah Knox (Frank) of Biloxi, MS and Cindy Wiedeman of Wichita, KS; his grandchildren, Hailey, Joshua and Aiden Morgan; and his close friends, Randy and Teresa Webb. He is also survived by many nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the McGregor Volunteer Fire Department.
