It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Jean Zimmerman of McGregor, Texas, born in Mishawaka, Indiana, who passed away on November 2, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Adrian Swoveland and Charlotte Mary Swoveland (Lanning); her husband Doyle Wayne Zimmerman; her son Steven Zimmerman; her daughter-in-law Brenda Zimmerman; her father-in-law Duard; her siblings, George Swoveland, William Swoveland, Merlin Swoveland and Sharon Walker; and her sisters-in-law, Jean Smith, Doris Woods and Nell Swoveland.
She is survived by: her children, Denise DeLoach (John) and Darrell Zimmerman (Raelyn); her grandchildren, Brandon DeLoach, Josh DeLoach (Laura), Holly Wilson (Kyle), Micah Zimmerman (Krisanne), Jesse Zimmerman (Abby), Corey Zimmerman (Anna) and Cyle Zimmerman (LeAnna); her great grandchildren, Clay Herbort (Chelsie), Cole Herbort (McKenzie), Claire Herbort, Margot DeLoach, Oliver Zimmerman, Eleanor Zimmerman, Madelyn Zimmerman, Payton Zimmerman and Parker Zimmerman; her great great grandchildren, Cedar Herbort and Georgie Herbort; her siblings, Duane Swoveland (Lynda) and Kathie Donaldson (Jim); and her sisters-in-law, Dee Swoveland, Georgia Swoveland and Lois Hayes. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
