She was predeceased by: her fathers, Roland Rainey Hill and Cecil Mae Hill (Pass); her husband Borden Carrol Ward; and her siblings, R. F. Hill, L. E. Hill, Dorothy Holder and Eleanor Warwick.

She is survived by: her children, Don Ward (Billie) and Pam DeBorde (David); her grandsons, Joshua Ward (Liz) and Brad DeBorde (Katie); and her great grandchildren, Henry Ward, Robin DeBorde and Anna Ward. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
