He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnie Dixon; his daughter Crystal Dixon Archer; his parents, Cecil Sullivan and Pearl Sullivan; and his brothers, Roger Dixon and Ronald Dixon.
He is survived by: his children, Andrea Hurst of Lexington and Patrick Dixon of Pflugerville; his grandchildren, Kylie Rieger, Chase Hurst and Kynley Hurst of Lexington; and his sisters, Alice Harmon of Nacogdoches and Grace Hamilton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and one nephew.
