She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward "Eddie" Robert Mewis and Betty Jean Mewis; and her siblings, Brenda Cherisse Barnett and Lee Edward Carpenter. She is survived by: her daughter Amanda (Joey Miller, Jr.) of McDade; her grandson Erick; her husband Rick (Austin); her son Erick Johns (Lisa) of Elgin; her grandchildren, Trinity Johns, Colby Miller, Orion Johns and Coral Miller; and her friend Evelyn (Terry Robinson). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
