She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roy Alexander and Nettie (Phelan); her children, David Birdwell (Linda Boles) of Santa Fe, NM and Carol Birdwell Abernathy (Mike) of Sweetwater; her siblings, Alvin Alexander (Brenda) of Hurricane, Utah and Patsy Lesley of Houston; her former husband Emmett Buck Birdwell; her husband Billy Gaymon Schubert; and her siblings, R. H. Alexander, Billy Alexander and Bonnie Lesley. She was also cherished by numerous nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to an Alzheimer's charity or organization.
