She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Kennedy and Laura Kennedy; her husband Billy Joe Smart; her son Billy Ray Smart; her grandson Michael Ray Mendoza; her siblings, Tiny Deubler, Clayton, Neal, Weldon and Floyd Kennedy; and her son-in-law Julio César Ruiz.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Smart (Kim), Cathy Ervine (Ronnie), Lanelle Stephens (Yancey) and Miranda K.; her grandchildren, Julie Hutson (Kyle), Jana Smart, Ovidio Mendoza, Jr., Billy Frank Mendoza (Lillie), Kevin Smart (Cindy) and Davon Smart (Stephanie); her great grandchildren, Elijah, McKayla, Aalyiah, Ahdan, Aamyiah, Isaac (Priscilla), Ivy (Dylan), Ivan, Delilah, Henry, Samuel, Olive, Brazen Hawk and Charlotte; and her great great grandchildren, Delilah, Ariella and Zariyan. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
