She was predeceased by: her parents, William Rayford Phillips and Claudia Ake; her husband Houston; her son Joe Barry; her sisters, Frances, Yvonne and Claudia; and her brothers-in-law, Orville, Don and Barney.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Houston Stanton Kennedy; her friend Olden; her sons, Jim Kennedy and Chip Kennedy; her daughter-in-law Meg; her grandchildren, Aaron Kennedy, Molly, Garret Kennedy, Sharla, Sabrena Kennedy Rushing, Chad, Angela Kennedy Robinson and Bret; her great grandchildren, Hali, Jadyn, Jillian, Raelyn, Laike, Miles, Seely, Lanae, Bryan and Astor; her cousins, Helen and John; and also Rayford Phillips (Wanda).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Marion Cemetery for its care and upkeep (4220 W. FM 765, Lohn, TX 76852).
