He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Covill and Wanda Covill (Roach); his siblings, Norma Jean Shellenberger and William Bond; his cousins, Buddy and Mike Hall; and his pet April.
He is survived by: his wife Lori Covill; his children, Jenny Londerholm (Stephen) and Trey Covill (Mandy); his grandchildren, Zoe, Evey, Kat, Mary, Hallie and Lane; and his siblings, Luanne Bentley, Lois North (John) and Charlie (Nancy).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Nichols Funeral Home - McCamey (1000 Hwy 1901, McCamey, TX 79752). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Resthaven Cemetery (2000 FM 305, McCamey, TX 79752).
In lieu of flowers family requests donations to American Alzheimer's Society or American Heart Association in honor of Eugene's life.
